IT Service Desk Officer - Celestica


Job Position/Title:

Information Technology Service Desk Officer
(Philippines)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a seamless, single-point-of-contact of engagement for resolving issues of all Information Technology services, full suite of ID administration and interfacing all other Information Technology service requests
  • Record, analyse, process and coordinate resolution of all Information Technology requests and problem tickets
  • Be responsible for full suite of (Move, Add, Change, Delete) user ID administration
  • Ensure timely and satisfactory closures of all open tickets
  • Provide a single-point-of-contact customer experience for Information Technology service requests and issues requiring service-desk personnel interfacing

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT course or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 2 years of computer systems, PC and applications operations support work experience, in a service desk capacity, preferably in a global MNC setting
  • Proficient in English as the primary communication medium
  • Highly proficient with computers (PCs, general networking, Office and email applications), with SAP and database knowledge as added advantage
  • Possess self-starter attitude with excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Willing to work on a rotating shift to support a global footprint on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis
